Get the most out of the S62 V8 in your BMW M5 E39 with the Evolve 4-1 stepped Medusa manifolds in stainless steel.

The exhaust manifolds are the biggest restriction of the S62 V8 in the E39 M5. A different exhaust without new manifolds delivers hardly any power gain.

Evolve developed a 4-1 stepped design that delivers more power in the high rev range while retaining the strong torque in the low and mid range, with almost 400 lb-ft between 2000 and 5000 rpm (stock 368 lb-ft). Above 5000 rpm, power increases by 25 to 40 hp, depending on the engine build.

In combination with the Evolve software and intake system, according to Evolve the S62 goes from an average of 390 hp and 368 lb-ft to 445 hp and well over 400 lb-ft. With the manifolds alone, the sound becomes slightly fuller.
