Permanently solve the well-known throttle actuator problem of your BMW M5 E60 E61 or M6 E63 E64 with the uprated Evolve actuators.
On the S85 V10, the throttle actuator is a common problem. A faulty actuator puts the engine into limp mode, with the DSC and EML lights on and fault codes 2B15 and 2B16 (Throttle Valve Actuator Bank 1 and 2). Often the engine first runs normally for about five minutes before the symptoms appear.
The cause is a design flaw in the internal gears, which wear prematurely and overload the electronics. With these refurbished actuators, Evolve replaces all internal components with heavier-duty versions, so the problem does not return.
